His ship was wrecked so he had no way to get off the island. In the clues he left it stated that there were strange fruit . Coming from England these fruit would be very strange. We believe that these fruit may be Orange Creeper as it is very strange to everyone.
Orange Creeper don't grow in places like Shetland island because it is to cold. This is one of the reasons why Shetland island is
not the island where he shipwrecked also because, it is to close to where he began his expedition. This leaves us with four islands Aruba,
Galapagos, Ascension and Prince edward island. We have decided that Prince edward island can not be it because it is to cold.
This is the reason why we believe that Prince Edward Island is not the correct island. We can know say that it galapagos island
because it has many volcanos, four to be exact. Also the weather matches. The temperature of the Galapagos islands matches March
as the following months. The plant life also matches to, the different trees he saw where interesting as he wrote that the tree is prickly, bushy plants that grow low on the ground. The animals he also described had a hard back, something that looked like a snake but with spikes on its back also birds that like wading and staying up in trees.
